Embodied Site

An exhibition of new work by Emily Crabtree, Aubrey Hillman, and Wendi M Turchan

The work in this exhibition centers around the embodiment of transformations that happen in space and time.  The creation of physical form to abstract ideas allows for viewing moments through a variation of artistic practices.  These concepts are explored through utilizing different mediums including installation, metalsmithing, painting, and photography.  the objects shown reference a displaced present space.  Images are created that explore the collection of time and embodiment of relationships along with referencing physical spaces placing the viewer in a visually constructed past.
